Education
With the Civil Rights Movement ending only 2 years before the 70s came to a start, America was still reeling for the turbulence it caused. As with the equality now given to all school's during this time, started to integrate black with white. This was a revolutionary time in Education. There are accounts of black children being brought to school guarded by police because of the controversy it caused. Not only was the U.S. facing problems with bringing union but due to color differences but even more problems occurred due to the Vietnam war. With a separated country, of course there was separation in schools. With anti-war protests taking places during school and on campus; arose 4 deaths at Ohio State University and supreme court case. The education system was on rocky shores.
